A Satin Body, Precious Accents

Premium Anodised pieces are built in two stages. First the aluminium body receives its satin violet finish, a colour that becomes part of the metal surface rather than a coat laid on top. Then the lens rings, buttons and logo detail are plated at 5–7 microns and refitted by hand.

Because the back is coloured, not covered in metal, Iris keeps MagSafe and Qi2 charging up to 25W, along with Face ID and the complete camera system.

Is Iris one of Apple’s colours?

No. Apple does not sell a violet iPhone 18 Pro. The iris finish is a GoldPrivé colour applied to the aluminium body.

What is plated on the Iris Gold iPhone 18 Pro Max?

The camera rings, the side buttons and the logo detail, in your choice of 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum.

Will MagSafe charging still work?

Yes. There is no metal plating across the back, so MagSafe and Qi2 charging up to 25W work as normal.

Gold or Platinum with violet?

24K Gold gives the richest contrast; Platinum looks cooler and more graphic; Rose Gold softens the violet.

How durable is an anodised colour?

The colour forms part of the aluminium surface, so it does not peel like paint. Clean it with a soft dry cloth and avoid solvents.

What about water resistance and warranty?

After customisation the phone is not water resistant, so protect it from water. Apple may treat it as modified; GoldPrivé warrants the plated details and the anodised finish.

Does the metal I choose change the price?
