Luxury 24K Gold Phones
24K Gold Phones
Genuine Apple and Samsung flagships, hand-finished in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. Five collections, 107 editions, from $1,505.
Every Gold Phone We Make, in One Place
Every gold phone that leaves the GoldPrivé atelier begins as a genuine, unlocked Apple or Samsung flagship bought at retail. It is fully disassembled in Dubai, its housing plated to a measured 5–7 microns of genuine 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, and rebuilt with diamonds, mother of pearl, carbon fiber or exotic leather set into the back. This page brings all five current gold phone collections together with their starting prices, so the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, the 18K solid gold line, the Foldable Gold iPhone Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and Z Fold8 Ultra can be compared side by side.
Real Precious Metal
Genuine 24K Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum, electroplated over a barrier layer to a measured thickness. Never a gold-coloured coating or a painted finish.
Retail Hardware
Every gold phone is built on a new, unlocked flagship. The display, cameras, battery and antennas are untouched, so Face ID, 5G and wireless charging all work as Apple or Samsung intended.
Rare Materials
VS-grade diamonds, Swarovski crystal, hand-selected mother of pearl, genuine carbon fiber and crocodile leather, each fitted to the specific housing of the phone it decorates.
Made to Order
Initials, monograms, crests and corporate marks are engraved before the final plating pass. Diamond frames and fully bespoke designs are quoted individually.

What Makes a Gold Phone Worth Owning
“Gold phone” is used for everything from a champagne-coloured factory finish to a housing cast in 18-karat gold. The two have almost nothing in common. This guide explains what GoldPrivé means by the term, how the five collections differ, what each costs, and how to choose between them.
What Counts as a Gold Phone
Apple and Samsung have both sold “gold” colourways over the years. Those are anodised aluminium or coated titanium tinted to look like gold; there is no precious metal involved. A gold phone in the sense GoldPrivé uses the word contains real gold, applied in one of two ways.
24K gold plating is an electrolytic deposit of 99.9% pure gold onto the phone’s own housing. GoldPrivé plates to a measured 5–7 microns over a barrier layer that stops the base alloy migrating into the gold. That is thick enough to be a durable, solid-looking finish rather than a flash coat, and it keeps the weight and balance of the original device. Every 24K gold phone on this page, whether iPhone or Samsung, is made this way.
18K solid gold is a different object entirely. The housing components are cast in 18-karat gold alloy (75% gold, alloyed for hardness) and machined to accept the original internals. The phone is heavier, the metal is structural rather than a surface, and the price reflects the gold content. GoldPrivé offers this as a separate line for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. The two approaches are compared in more depth in our guide to 24K gold versus 18K gold iPhones.
Five Gold Phone Collections, One Atelier
The base device matters as much as the metal. GoldPrivé does not use cloned hardware, refurbished units or reshelled handsets: every gold phone starts as a new, unlocked flagship purchased at retail, which is why each collection carries full Apple or Samsung functionality and takes normal software updates.
The 24K Gold iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max collection is the largest and the most requested, with 25 editions from $2,890. Because Apple has not yet announced the device, these are pre-orders: reservations are taken now and finished handsets ship after launch. The 18K Solid Gold iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max line sits above it with six cast-gold editions from $15,920, several of them diamond-set.
The Foldable Gold iPhone Ultra applies the same finishes to Apple’s folding iPhone. It is the most technically demanding gold phone in the range: two panels have to be plated in a single session so they match under daylight, and the hinge channel is masked so no coating enters the mechanism. On the Samsung side, the 24K Gold Galaxy S26 Ultra is the lowest-priced entry point into a genuine gold phone at $1,505, and the 24K Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra offers the largest surface for decorative work, from $5,880. Both Samsung collections are shipping devices and can be ordered for immediate production.
Finishes: 24K Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum
Each plated collection is offered in three metals. 24K Gold is the deep, warm yellow most people picture when they think of a gold phone. Rose Gold is a gold alloy plated with a higher copper content for a pink cast, and it has become the second most requested finish, particularly for gifts. Platinum gives a bright white-metal finish for clients who want the material value and craftsmanship without the yellow colour. All three are plated to the same thickness and carry the same care guidance, which we set out in our guide to caring for a gold iPhone.
Editions That Run Across Every Device
The collections share a common set of editions, so a client who knows the iPhone range will recognise the Samsung one. Ultimate carries the signature GoldPrivé engraved patterns across the whole back and is the broadest edition on every device. Timeless pairs a coloured glass or lacquer back with gold-plated rails and camera surround. Éclat adds diamond-set logos and frames. Exotic Skin inlays genuine crocodile leather; Pearl Edition inlays hand-selected mother of pearl; Carbon Craft inlays real carbon fiber. On the Samsung collections there is also an Evil Eye edition with 18K solid gold charms, and Premium Anodised, a rhodium finish, is available on consultation for most devices.
How Much Do Gold Phones Cost?
Starting prices across the five collections run from $1,505 for a 24K Gold Galaxy S26 Ultra to $15,920 for an 18K solid gold iPhone 18 Pro Max. Within a collection, three things move the price: the storage capacity of the base device, the edition (an inlaid pearl or leather back costs more than a plated one, and a diamond-set frame costs more again), and any personalisation such as engraving or gemstone work. As a guide, the plated iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max and Foldable collections run from $2,890 to $4,990; the Galaxy S26 Ultra from $1,505 to $6,710; the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra from $5,880 to $11,070; and the 18K solid gold line from $15,920 to $23,880. A full breakdown, including cases and plating services, is in our article on how much a 24K gold iPhone costs.
Gold Phone or Gold Case?
Not everyone wants a permanent change to the device. A 24K gold iPhone case uses the same metals and inlay materials as a snap-on shell, from $1,390, and can be moved between phones or removed entirely. The trade-off is that a case adds bulk and does not carry the material value of a plated or solid gold phone. Our comparison of a gold case versus a gold-plated iPhone walks through cost, reversibility and resale in detail.
iPhone or Samsung?
Most clients arrive already knowing which platform they use, and GoldPrivé finishes both to the same standard. Where the choice is open, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra offers the lowest entry price and the Z Fold8 Ultra the largest surface for decorative work, while the iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max has the widest range of editions and the option of the 18K solid gold line. Foldables on either side cost more to finish because of the hinge work, and that is reflected in their pricing.
Ordering, Authenticity and Delivery
Every gold phone ships with documentation and can be checked through the GoldPrivé product verification system. The atelier is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and delivery is worldwide, fully insured and discreetly packaged. Apple’s and Samsung’s own hardware warranties are not affected by us one way or the other, so aftercare runs through GoldPrivé Care instead. Corporate and diplomatic clients who need matched sets, engraved logos or presentation packaging can start with our corporate gifts service; private clients can begin with a consultation through the contact page.
Beyond Gold Phones
The same atelier finishes watches, laptops, tablets and accessories in genuine 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, so a matched set can be commissioned alongside the phone.

Gold Phones — Frequently Asked Questions
Are GoldPrivé gold phones real gold?
Yes. The 24K collections are electroplated with genuine 24K gold (99.9% pure), rose gold or platinum to a measured 5–7 microns over a barrier layer. The 18K solid gold line uses housings cast in 18-karat gold alloy. None of the collections uses a gold-coloured paint, PVD tint or anodised finish.
Which phones can be made into gold phones?
Current collections cover the Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max (24K plated and 18K solid gold), the Foldable Gold iPhone Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Other devices, including the iPhone Air 2, Apple Watch, iPad and MacBook, are finished through separate collections or as a bespoke commission.
How much does a gold phone cost?
Starting prices are $1,505 for the 24K Gold Galaxy S26 Ultra, $2,890 for the 24K Gold iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max and the Foldable Gold iPhone Ultra, $5,880 for the 24K Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and $15,920 for the 18K Solid Gold iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max. Storage capacity, edition and any diamond or engraving work move the final price.
Does a gold phone still work like a normal phone?
Yes. Only the exterior housing is refinished. The display, cameras, battery, antennas and internals are the original retail components, so 5G, Face ID or fingerprint unlock, wireless charging and software updates all work normally.
Is a gold phone solid gold or gold-plated?
Both are available. The 24K collections are plated; the 18K Solid Gold iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max line is cast. Plated phones keep the weight and balance of the original device; solid gold phones are heavier and priced on their gold content.
Can I have a gold phone engraved or personalised?
Yes. Initials, monograms, family crests, corporate logos, dates and custom artwork can all be engraved, and the engraving is cut before the final plating pass so it sits beneath the metal. Diamond and gemstone settings and fully bespoke designs are quoted individually.
Do you ship gold phones outside the UAE?
Yes. GoldPrivé is based in Dubai and ships worldwide with full insurance and discreet packaging. Import duties, where they apply, are the responsibility of the recipient and are explained before an order is confirmed.
How long does a gold phone take to make?
Plated editions of shipping devices are the quickest; diamond-set and fully bespoke commissions take longest because the stones are set by hand. iPhone 18 and Foldable Gold iPhone Ultra orders placed before Apple’s launch are pre-orders and are finished once the retail device is available. Lead times are confirmed in writing when the order is placed.
