24K Gold Apple iPad Pro: The Flagship, Plated
No iPad Apple makes is more capable than iPad Pro (M5), the tablet for someone whose screen serves as studio, briefing folder and private cinema in turn. The 24K Gold Apple iPad Pro is precisely that machine, dressed in metal: its aluminium shell is plated to order in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, one of three models in our gold iPad collection.
Beneath the gold works the M5 chip, with 12GB of memory in the 512GB model and 16GB at 1TB or 2TB. Its Ultra Retina XDR screen uses tandem OLED, refreshing from 10 to 120Hz with ProMotion, at 11 or 13 inches. Face ID recognises you, the USB-C port runs Thunderbolt, and every example we supply adds cellular to Wi-Fi: 5G via Apple’s C1X modem on eSIM, and Wi-Fi 7 from the N1 chip.
Gold on the Outside, Apple Within
Our atelier confines itself to the exterior. The aluminium shell, rear panel and edges alike, is plated 5 to 7 microns thick, a finish carried across the raised camera plateau while the camera, flash and LiDAR Scanner are left uncovered. Apple’s logo and the word “iPad” remain legible; the GoldPrivé mark sits low on the back. Neither the screen’s glass nor any lens is touched. Silicon, screen, cameras, speakers, battery and software stay as Apple built them, so iPadOS updates arrive normally and Apple Intelligence is supported. One point, calmly made: a metal finish may slightly affect wireless behaviour — Wi-Fi and mobile signal, and how Apple Pencil pairs and charges magnetically on the edge. If any of that is critical to your work, mention it to your consultant while the commission is still being agreed.

A dry, soft cloth that sheds no lint is all the plating needs; never use abrasive or chemical cleaners on it. Let perfume and cosmetics settle before you pick the iPad up. 24K Gold Apple iPad Pro: Before You Commission
What is plated on the iPad Pro?
The aluminium back and sides, 5–7 microns deep in whichever metal you pick, plus the raised camera plateau. The camera, flash and LiDAR Scanner are left uncovered, and the display glass keeps its original surface.
Does plating change how the iPad Pro performs?
No. M5, the tandem OLED screen, battery, cameras, speakers and software are untouched; iPadOS updates install as usual and Apple Intelligence runs as on any iPad Pro (M5).
Which configurations are available?
Two sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch, each with 512GB, 1TB or 2TB, and all with 5G on eSIM alongside Wi-Fi. Those six combinations are the complete range.
What can be engraved on the back?

Do my Apple Pencil and keyboard still work, and what about signal?
