Novarche Personalised Gold Watch: A Barrel of Gold on Black
The Novarche Personalised Gold Watch brings a different silhouette to our personalised gold watch collection: a tonneau, or barrel-shaped, case whose sides swell gently outward, with a small round detail marking each corner of the bezel. Against a black leather strap, that sculpted gold outline stands out even more than it would on metal.
Behind the polished bezel lies a gold dial carrying the GoldPrivé mark and, in the style photographed, fine baton lines above a minute track. That style is Elegant Lines; you may instead choose Classic Numeric, with numerals at the hours, or Timeless Roman, with Roman numerals. The face is uncluttered, without a date window, and a quartz movement drives the analogue hands. Novarche is a watch for evenings and tailoring, and for anyone drawn to shapes beyond the circle.
Where the Metal Ends and the Strap Begins
On Novarche we plate the tonneau case, its bezel and the pin buckle, at 5–7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. The strap is different by design. It is black leather and receives no plating at all, so the watch sets bright metal against a deep, matt black. Turn it over and the GoldPrivé name runs across the shaped case back.
Fit is set the familiar way: the strap passes through the buckle and closes on whichever hole feels right, so there are no links to remove and no sizing to wait for. It is the simplest watch strap arrangement there is, and on Novarche it lets the case do all the talking.
