Legacy Gold iPhone Air: One Detail, in Diamonds

The Legacy Gold iPhone Air places its brilliance at a single point: the Apple logo. Starting from a new, unlocked Apple iPhone Air, our Dubai atelier fits a polished replacement back, sets its logo in pavé diamonds and plates back and titanium frame alike in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. It is the natural doorway into the Éclat collection.

Around that logo, the Maison holds back on purpose. The camera surround is mirror-polished metal with no stones, and the frame takes 5–7 microns of plating without ever being drilled. You decide what sparkles: simulated diamonds for the most accessible Legacy, or natural VS1 stones graded on the GIA clarity scale.

Stones on the Outside, Apple Within

Our work ends at the shell. The new back carries both the plating and the diamond logo, and the frame is finished in the identical metal so that edge and back read as one jewel. Apple’s display, A19 Pro chip, cameras and battery stay sealed and unmodified, which means Face ID, Apple Pay, 5G, eSIM, the 48MP Fusion camera and each iOS update behave exactly as on a phone straight from Apple.

One habit does change. A solid metal back prevents MagSafe and Qi2 pads from delivering power, so Legacy is charged through its USB‑C port, using the cable we supply.

Each Legacy is completed to order and handed over in GoldPrivé’s leather presentation box with its gift bag. Inside you will find Apple’s original paperwork, a USB‑C cable, a 20W power adapter and a GoldPrivé authenticity certificate that can be checked on our product verification page.

Where exactly are the diamonds on Legacy?

Only in the Apple logo, which is pavé-set into the new polished back. The camera surround carries no stones, and the plated titanium frame is never drilled or set.

Is Legacy built on a genuine iPhone Air?

Yes. Every commission starts with a brand-new, unlocked Apple iPhone Air, and our Dubai atelier customises the exterior alone. Production typically takes 7 to 14 working days, followed by fully insured worldwide delivery.

Can I charge Legacy on a wireless pad?

No. MagSafe and Qi2 cannot work through the plated back, so charge it by USB‑C; the cable and a 20W adapter come in the box.

Is engraving possible?

It is. Initials, a name or a date can be requested through our customisation page, and a GoldPrivé consultant confirms the layout with you.

Which sizes and capacities are offered?

The iPhone Air comes in one size, with a 6.5-inch display, and Legacy is available in 256GB, 512GB or 1TB.

How is Legacy priced?

$ 3,890 buys 256GB with simulated diamonds, and $ 4,790 buys 1TB with natural VS1 stones, whose inclusions are difficult to see under 10x magnification. Moving to VS1 adds about $300, and the three metals cost the same.

What happens to Apple’s warranty and water resistance?

Apple may treat a customised iPhone as modified, so its warranty may be affected, and water resistance is lost with customisation. GoldPrivé Care protects the plating and diamond work we add.

How does Legacy compare with other diamond designs?
