Royal Gold iPhone Air: Scrollwork Meets Shell

The Royal Gold iPhone Air is the most ornamented piece in our Pearl Edition collection, a study in contrast between carved metal and living shell. The Maison starts from an unlocked Apple iPhone Air, new and sealed, fits a fresh back panel that carries the design, then plates its metal and the titanium frame in Platinum, Rose Gold or 24K Gold, 5 to 7 microns deep.

High on the back, circling the lenses, Baroque scrollwork is engraved into the upper section. A polished chevron band follows, secured by small screw fixings, while polished side rails with fine line detail and fixings of their own trace both long edges. Whatever surface remains is given to genuine mother of pearl: natural nacre whose pink, green and silver flashes never repeat from one panel to the next.

Crafted on the Surface, Apple at the Core

Every intervention happens on the outside. The shell is inlaid into the replacement back, the metal elements around it are plated, and Apple’s titanium frame receives that same precious finish. Our craftsmen never open the display, the A19 Pro chip, the camera system, the battery or any internal component, so Face ID, 5G, eSIM, Apple Pay, the 48MP Fusion camera and iOS updates behave precisely as Apple intended.
