Regal Gold iPhone Air: A Back of Luminous Shell

Nowhere in the Pearl Edition collection does shell claim more space than on the Regal Gold iPhone Air. At its heart is a new Apple iPhone Air, supplied unlocked. Our Dubai atelier exchanges its back for a panel inlaid with mother of pearl, then plates the metal accents and titanium frame in your preferred metal: 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum.

That inlay is genuine mother of pearl, a natural nacre that flickers pink, green and silver as light moves across it, so no two backs ever look alike. On the back, metal appears in just three places: an Apple logo plated onto the shell, a polished camera plateau and a small nameplate near the base. The effect is restrained and luminous, jewellery rather than decoration.

Shell on the Back, Apple Untouched Within

GoldPrivé alters the casing, never the computer. Apple’s rear panel gives way to one holding the shell, its metal accents are plated, and the titanium frame is finished to match at 5–7 microns. Screen, A19 Pro chip, cameras and battery all remain closed, which is why iOS updates, Apple Pay, eSIM, 5G, Face ID and the 48MP Fusion camera carry on without change.

On the subject of charging pads: some Regal configurations accept wireless charging and some do not, so please have the GoldPrivé sales team confirm yours before you order. Plugging in over USB‑C works on every Regal.

Regal leaves our atelier in a GoldPrivé leather presentation box with matching gift bag, accompanied by Apple’s paperwork, a 20W power adapter, a USB‑C cable and a certificate of authenticity you can look up through product verification. Since so much of the back is shell, initials or dates are engraved on the plated accents and never on the pearl.

Nacre is a natural material that rewards a light touch. Keep perfume, chemicals and water off it, spare it from knocks, and polish it only with a soft dry cloth.

Regal Gold iPhone Air: Questions Answered

What exactly is customised on Regal?

The back and the frame. A replacement panel carries mother of pearl over nearly all of its surface, set with a plated Apple logo, a polished plated camera plateau and a small plated nameplate, while the titanium frame takes the same metal.

Does Regal begin as an authentic iPhone Air?

Always. Each one is made from a new, unlocked Apple iPhone Air, and only its outer surfaces are worked by hand in Dubai.

Will it work with a wireless charger?

That depends on the configuration, as wireless charging is available on some. Confirm with the GoldPrivé sales team before ordering; charging by USB‑C is always possible.

Where can an engraving go?

Onto the plated metal, arranged through our customisation service. Shell is never engraved, so its natural pattern is preserved.

Is there more than one size?

No. iPhone Air has a single 6.5-inch display, and Regal is available with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB.

What does the Regal Gold iPhone Air cost?

Could the customisation affect my warranty or water resistance?

It could. Apple may classify the handset as altered, in which case its warranty may be affected, and it is not water resistant once customised. The parts we customise are protected by GoldPrivé Care.
