The atelier takes a new, unlocked Apple iPhone Air and exchanges its rear panel for one paved in a regular grid of diamonds, with the camera plateau set to match and a pavé Apple logo resting within the field. Though a diamond piece, it is filed in our Ultimate collection.
Two stone options are offered. Diamond simulants give the full effect, while natural VS1 diamonds, a grade defined on GIA’s clarity scale, add about $8,000. Plating in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum is applied at 5 to 7 microns, and the metal you prefer never alters the price.
Diamonds on the Back, Never in the Frame
Every diamond on Astranova lives on the replacement back, from the grid and the pavé logo to the setting on the camera plateau. The titanium frame is plated in the same metal but never drilled, so its structure stays as Apple engineered it. Inside, nothing is disturbed: the battery, display, cameras, A19 Pro chip and internal components remain sealed, and Face ID, 5G, eSIM, Apple Pay, iOS updates and the 48MP Fusion camera all work normally.
A diamond-set metal back will not let MagSafe or Qi2 charge the battery, so Astranova is charged by USB‑C.

Simulated or VS1: what is the difference?
Simulants recreate the sparkle of diamonds at the entry price. Natural VS1 diamonds carry a clarity grade at which inclusions are hard to spot even under 10x magnification, and choosing them adds about $8,000 to Astranova.
Can Astranova be engraved?

Astranova uses the single 6.5-inch iPhone Air with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB. It starts at $ 5,390 with simulated diamonds and 256GB and reaches $ 13,990 with VS1 diamonds and 1TB; every metal costs the same.
What about Apple’s warranty and water resistance?
Apple may regard a customised iPhone as modified, which may affect its warranty, and the phone may not keep its IP68 water resistance. GoldPrivé Care covers the plating, back panel and stone setting.
