Botanica Gold iPhone Air: Roses in Precious Metal

On the Botanica Gold iPhone Air, engraved scrollwork curls and blooms over every part of the back, winding around the camera as freely as it fills the lower panel. The swirls recall climbing roses, and they are set on a new, unlocked Apple iPhone Air reworked by hand in our Dubai atelier. Within the Ultimate collection, Botanica is the design inspired by the garden.

Structure keeps the flourish in check. Just beneath the camera area, a polished band in the shape of a chevron crosses the back, held by small screw fixings, and slender polished rails with line detail and fixings of their own trace both long edges. A small GoldPrivé nameplate rests near the base. The plating, in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, is 5–7 microns thick, with no price difference between metals.

Botanica’s transformation happens entirely on the outside. We exchange Apple’s rear panel for a new back bearing the scrollwork, band, rails and plating, then coat the titanium frame in the matching metal. The handset itself is never opened, which leaves the display, the A19 Pro chip, the camera hardware, the battery and every internal part exactly as Apple assembled them.

Apple Pay, Face ID, eSIM, 5G, the 48MP Fusion camera and software updates all operate without change. What a metal back does rule out is wireless power: MagSafe and Qi2 will not work, so Botanica charges through USB‑C.

Botanica is completed to order and delivered in a GoldPrivé leather presentation box with a gift bag. Inside, Apple’s original documentation accompanies a 20W power adapter, a USB‑C cable and a GoldPrivé certificate whose authenticity you can confirm on our verification page.

With the back already engraved, personal additions call for thoughtful placement. Share initials or a date through our customisation service, and your consultant will advise where they can sit comfortably beside the scrollwork.

Which elements of Botanica are new?

The entire back panel is new. It carries the rose-like scrollwork, the polished chevron band with its screws, the side rails and the nameplate, while the titanium frame is plated in the same metal. Screen and internals are original Apple.

Does Botanica start life as a genuine iPhone?

Yes, as a brand-new, unlocked Apple iPhone Air that we customise by hand in Dubai. Its 48MP Fusion camera, Face ID and iOS updates work normally.

Is wireless charging possible?

No. MagSafe and Qi2 chargers cannot work through the plated back, so charge Botanica with the USB‑C cable provided.
