Legacy Bold Gold iPhone Air: Diamonds Where the Eye Lands

Look at the back of any Apple iPhone Air and two features draw the eye, the logo and the camera plateau. The Legacy Bold Gold iPhone Air dresses both in diamonds. We begin with a new, unlocked phone, exchange its rear panel for a polished plated back, and plate the titanium frame to match in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. Of the two pieces in our Éclat collection, this is the louder voice.

Along the top, the plateau is set with stones from edge to edge while the lenses themselves stay uncovered; lower down, the pavé logo rests alone on mirror-bright metal. The frame is plated but never drilled. Stones may be simulated diamonds or natural VS1 diamonds, a grade the GIA clarity system defines.

A Jeweller’s Back on Apple’s Engineering

Every stone lives on the replacement back: the diamond logo and the set camera surround. The frame beside it is plated in the same metal, 5–7 microns deep, and left smooth. Inside, nothing is disturbed. The screen, A19 Pro chip, cameras, battery and internals stay closed, so Apple Pay, eSIM, 5G, Face ID and the 48MP Fusion camera keep working, and iOS updates arrive as normal.

Power is the only routine that shifts. Metal and diamonds across the back stop MagSafe and Qi2 from charging, which is why Legacy Bold is plugged in over USB‑C.

Which parts of Legacy Bold hold diamonds?

Two: the Apple logo, in pavé, and the complete camera plateau. The plated titanium frame carries no stones and is never drilled, while the lenses, display and internals are left alone.

Is there a real Apple iPhone Air underneath?

There is. We start from a brand-new, unlocked iPhone Air and hand-finish only its exterior in Dubai. Allow typically 7 to 14 working days for production before fully insured shipping.

Will a MagSafe or Qi2 charger work?

Not on this design. The plated, diamond-set back stops wireless charging, so connect it over USB‑C instead.

What does Legacy Bold cost?

From $ 4,390 for 256GB with simulated diamonds to $ 8,790 for 1TB with natural VS1 diamonds, whose inclusions are difficult to see under 10x magnification. Upgrading to VS1 adds about $3,800, and all three metals share one price.

Can the back be engraved?

Yes. Share the initials, name or date you have in mind on our customisation page, and a consultant will confirm the design before we begin.

What storage and screen size can I choose?

There is one size, with a 6.5-inch display, offered in 256GB, 512GB or 1TB.

Could customisation affect the warranty or water resistance?

It could. Apple may regard the phone as modified, which may affect its warranty, and it is not water resistant after customisation. The plating and stonework we add are protected by GoldPrivé Care.

Legacy Bold, Legacy or a fully paved back?
