Legacy Gold iPhone Duo: One Logo, Set in Light

The Legacy Gold iPhone Duo opens our Éclat diamond collection with a single, confident gesture. On a smooth back plate of 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, the Apple logo is filled with pavé-set diamonds, and nothing else competes for attention.

That restraint is deliberate: the stones flash every time the phone is laid on a table, yet the design never feels loud. Compare it with its bolder siblings in the Éclat collection.

Simulated or Natural VS1 Diamonds

Legacy is offered with simulated diamonds or with natural diamonds of VS1 clarity, which the GIA clarity scale defines as having minor inclusions that are hard to see even under 10× magnification. Because only the logo is set, VS1 adds just a small premium here.

The stones are confined to the back plate; the iPhone Duo frame, hinge and displays are not touched. All features work except MagSafe and wireless charging.

The Foldable Behind the Set Logo

Setting stones into the logo changes how Legacy catches light, not how it performs. Each row repeats Apple’s own data from the iPhone Duo specifications on apple.com.

Because the stones are held in a metal plate, MagSafe and Qi2 are off the table and USB‑C handles charging. A phone with an exchanged back is not water resistant and should never be submerged.

Legacy Questions

Legacy Gold iPhone Duo: Diamond FAQs

Where are the diamonds on the Legacy Gold iPhone Duo?

Inside the Apple logo on the back plate. There are no stones on the frame, hinge or camera area.

How much more does VS1 cost on Legacy?

Around $300 more than simulated diamonds at each storage size.

Can my own logo replace the Apple logo?

Yes. A company logo or monogram can be diamond-set in its place through GoldPrivé customisation.

What is a simulated diamond?

A stone made to imitate the look of diamond; see diamond simulants for background.

Is wireless charging supported on Legacy?

No. MagSafe and Qi wireless charging are blocked by the metal plate; USB‑C charging is unaffected.

What is the Legacy price range?

From $ 4,890 with simulated stones to $ 6,690 for 2TB with VS1 diamonds.

Does customisation affect Apple warranty?

Any third-party modification can affect Apple’s warranty and leaves the phone without water resistance. Our own warranty covers the back plate we fit.

Which edition has more diamonds?

Legacy Bold adds a broad diamond band across the plate. See every Éclat edition.
