Élysian 18K Gold iPhone 18 Pro Max: Two Metals, One Form
The Élysian 18K Gold iPhone 18 Pro Max tells two material stories at once. A brushed platinum-plated backplate forms the quiet field, and through its middle rises a sculpted centrepiece of 18K (750) solid gold, shaped as a single continuous form.
That centrepiece is forged separately and set into place rather than plated on, so it carries real gold weight — around 80 to 100 grams. It belongs to our 18K Solid Gold collection.
Where the Gold Value Actually Lives
It is worth being precise: the field you see most of is platinum plating, the frame is 24K gold plated, and the centrepiece is the part cast in solid 18K gold. Our guide to 24K plating versus 18K solid gold explains why that construction matters.
Beneath it all is a genuine iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max whose displays, cameras and internals are untouched. Wireless charging is the exception: the metal back rules out MagSafe and Qi2, so charge by USB‑C.
The iPhone 18 Pro Inside Élysian
Solid gold dresses the outside of a standard Apple flagship. These figures are Apple’s own, listed in the iPhone 18 Pro technical specifications; Élysian is offered at 1TB or 2TB.
Wireless charging is not available on the 18K line, so use the supplied USB‑C cable. A customised phone is not water resistant, and a solid gold piece must be kept away from water.

Élysian 18K Gold iPhone 18 Pro Max FAQs

The sculpted centrepiece, cast in 18K (750) gold. The backplate around it is platinum plating and the frame is 24K gold plated.
How much does the solid gold weigh?
About 80 to 100 grams.
How is Élysian different from Imperium and Sovereign?
Is it a genuine Apple iPhone?
Yes, a genuine iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max, with the customisation entirely external.
Does it support MagSafe?
No. The metal back blocks MagSafe and Qi2 charging; charge over USB‑C.
Which sizes and capacities are available?
Pro (6.3-inch) or Pro Max (6.9-inch), each in 1TB or 2TB, priced $ 18,210 to $ 21,000.
Can it be engraved?
Yes, arranged at checkout or in advance with a GoldPrivé consultant.
Why does it cost more than a plated gold iPhone?
