It starts as an unlocked Apple iPhone Air, new and unused, which our atelier in Dubai re-backs with a panel uniting plated metal and crocodile leather. It is the most formally framed piece in our Exotic Skin collection.
The composition reads from top to bottom. A polished plated section surrounds the camera and tapers to a downward chevron point; beneath it, finely ribbed plated rails descend along both sides, holding a tall leather panel between them; a small plated GoldPrivé nameplate completes the line at the base. Metal parts and titanium frame share one finish, 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum at 5–7 microns, each priced identically. Order the leather in red, black, green, brown or blue with no surcharge; black is the colour photographed.
A Rebuilt Back, an Untouched Core
Exotic Grandeur is an exterior commission. The leather sits within a new back panel that supersedes Apple’s, the chevron section, rails and nameplate on that panel are plated, and the titanium frame carries the same metal so its edges echo the rails. Apple’s display, A19 Pro chip, cameras, battery and internal components stay closed and unaltered, leaving Face ID, eSIM, 5G, the 48MP Fusion camera, Apple Pay and iOS updates fully functional.
If you rely on a charging pad, ask first. Wireless charging is available on some configurations, so the GoldPrivé sales team needs to confirm yours before ordering. USB‑C charging works every time.
