Legacy Bold Gold iPhone 18 Pro Max: Light in Two Places
The Legacy Bold Gold iPhone 18 Pro Max sets stones in two places. The Apple logo is filled with pavé diamonds at the centre of a polished plated back, and the whole camera plateau above it is jewelled as well.
Light collects at the top of the phone and again at its heart, framed in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. It sits between Legacy and Legacy Edge in the Éclat collection.
Stones Around the Cameras, Never Over Them
Stones stop at the rim of each lens aperture, so the 48MP Fusion cameras see exactly what they would on a standard phone. Every setting lives in the rear panel and plateau; the frame has none.
Natural VS1 stones on the GIA clarity scale add around $6,000 on the Pro and $6,800 on the Pro Max. With a plated back, wireless charging is unavailable.
Apple’s Figures Behind the Pavé
Every camera and chip below is Apple’s, untouched by our setters. The full list is in Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro specifications.
The jewelled plateau and plated back rule out MagSafe and Qi2, so charge by cable. The phone is not water resistant once customised, so keep it away from water and splashes.
From Statement Piece to Heirloom
Each stone is seated low so the plateau stays smooth under the fingers, though a soft pouch is wise in a handbag. Legacy Bold is delivered in leather with the original Apple paperwork, GoldPrivé’s authenticity certificate, a USB‑C cord and a 20W charging brick.

Legacy Bold Gold iPhone 18 Pro Max FAQs
Which parts carry diamonds?
The Apple logo and the camera plateau. The lenses are left clear and the frame is stone-free.
Do the diamonds affect photos?
No. Setting ends at each lens rim, so image quality is Apple’s.
Why does VS1 cost so much more here?
The plateau takes many stones, so upgrading every one to natural VS1 adds about $6,000 on the Pro and $6,800 on the Pro Max.
Do the stones catch on fabric?
They are set low, but a soft pouch is sensible for everyday carry.
Can I use MagSafe?
No. Wireless charging cannot pass through the plated back; charge with USB‑C.
What is the price range?
$ 4,790 with simulated stones up to $ 13,390 with VS1 at 2TB.
How is it covered?
Expect Apple to view the device as modified, which can limit its warranty, and keep the phone away from water. GoldPrivé stands behind the customised parts.
What sits either side of it?
Legacy keeps stones to the logo; Legacy Edge outlines the panel. Compare the Éclat category.
