Hide and Hardware

Wild Elegance Link Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 in Crocodile and Chain

Dark, glossy scales and a run of polished links: the Wild Elegance Link Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is made for evenings rather than boardrooms. Underneath is a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8, Samsung’s new wider book-style foldable. Our Dubai craftsmen remove its glass back and fit a panel clad almost edge to edge in black crocodile leather inside a slim plated rim; that metal, the chain and the pill-shaped camera surround are finished 5–7 microns deep in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. Neither the frame nor the hinge is plated.

The chain is the signature. A chunky curb chain lies flat along the right-hand side, held at top and bottom by shield-shaped plated mounts, and its interlocking links throw light across the deep grain of the hide. Lower left, a narrow plated strip carries the GoldPrivé name. Whichever metal you pick, the price stays the same; the design sits among our Exotic Skin Z Fold8 pieces.

Samsung at Heart

A Chain Outside, Factory Parts Inside

Leather, chain, mounts and nameplate are all part of the replacement back; beyond that we plate only the camera surround. Nothing internal is disturbed. The 7.6-inch QXGA+ main screen, the 5.5-inch cover screen, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, the 50MP wide and 50MP ultra wide cameras and the 4,800mAh battery all stay sealed, and the unplated hinge folds with the action Samsung engineered.

You keep Galaxy AI, 5G, eSIM and Samsung’s security support through to 31 July 2033. Wireless functions are the variable: with hide and metal combined, pad charging and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay are retained on some configurations of this design but not all. A consultant confirms what your build supports before ordering, and USB‑C cable charging is always available.

The wireless row is conditional on configuration; your consultant settles it before you commit, and the USB‑C cable is the dependable fallback. Samsung’s IP48 rating belongs to the unmodified phone, so treat this leather-backed Fold8 as unprotected and keep it away from water. For upkeep of the metal, see our guide to caring for a gold finish.

Initials & Unboxing

Personalising the Wild Elegance Link Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8

The plated strip in the lower corner can carry initials or a meaningful date. Describe what you have in mind through the personalisation service; a consultant tells you what the strip allows and confirms it with you before any engraving begins.

Delivery is in a GoldPrivé leather presentation box and gift bag, with Samsung’s original documentation, a USB‑C cable, a 20W power adapter and an authenticity certificate that our verification page will confirm. Want the same chain on a larger canvas? There is a Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra version. The adapter comes with every phone we supply; a phone you send us for customisation is returned without one.

Link FAQ

Your Questions on the Wild Elegance Link Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8

Which parts are customised?

The rear glass is replaced with a leather-faced panel that holds the chain, its two mounts and the GoldPrivé strip; that metalwork and the camera surround are plated 5 to 7 microns. Samsung’s frame, hinge, displays and internals are left alone.

Do you start with a brand-new phone?

Always: a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8, customised by hand in Dubai. Galaxy AI, both rear cameras and Samsung’s updates work as normal.

Will wireless charging and Samsung Wallet still work?

That varies with the configuration. Your consultant checks whether your Wild Elegance Link Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 keeps wireless charging and tap-to-pay and tells you before you order. Charging by USB‑C cable works whatever the answer.

Can I use my own Galaxy Z Fold8?

Yes. Send us your handset and you pay for the customisation only; shipping and customs each way are your responsibility, and a consultant arranges the details.

What storage and memory can I choose?

Three capacities: 256GB or 512GB with 12GB of RAM, and 1TB with 16GB. Any of them can be paired with any finish.

What is the price?

From $ 4,690 at 256GB up to $ 5,290 at 1TB. The finish does not change it.

What cover do I get, and is it safe near water?

A phone bought from us comes with a one-year warranty on the device and two years on our customisation through GoldPrivé Care. It should not go near water: the IP48 rating is Samsung’s for the phone in original form.

How does Link differ from its sister designs?

Link is the one with a chain. Exotic Royal relies on engraving, Wild Elegance Victory sets hide between pointed metal fields and Braid pairs leather with a woven lattice. For the chain on mother of pearl, see Regal.
