Its engine is the A17 Pro, a chip with a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU, driving an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina screen of 2266 by 1488 pixels at 326 ppi. Touch ID sits in the top button. There is a single configuration to choose: 256GB with Wi-Fi + Cellular, meaning 5G on eSIM together with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Plated Outside, Unchanged Within
Our work stops at the surface: the aluminium back and sides are plated five to seven microns deep, and a matching ring encircles the lone rear camera. Apple’s logo and the word “iPad” stay in view, with the GoldPrivé mark at the foot of the back. Display glass and camera lens are left as they came. The photography shows 24K Gold; Rose Gold and Platinum versions are identical in design.
Apple’s chip, screen, battery, cameras, speakers and software are not altered, so iPadOS updates reach it as they would any iPad mini, with Apple Intelligence supported. Is anything inside the tablet modified?
