Arctic Gold Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2: Warm Metal, Cool White
Picture a bright ring of gold set into fresh snow and you have the idea behind the Arctic Gold Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2. Our Dubai atelier receives a factory-new Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 with white titanium case sides, lays 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum 5–7 microns deep over its bezel and buttons, and returns it to Samsung’s Marine Band in white. It is the lightest-looking member of our gold Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 collection.
Where most Ultra2 editions frame the metal with shadow, Arctic surrounds it with light. The pale flanks of the 47mm case, the ribbed and perforated band and the plated buckle and loop join into one clean silhouette, with the 1.5-inch display at its centre. Gold and Rose Gold bring warmth to all that white; platinum turns the watch almost monochrome.
Metal Where It Shows, Samsung’s Work Left Intact
We plate Arctic’s bezel and each of its buttons, the Quick Button too, then give the band’s buckle and loop the same metal so the fastening matches the face. That is where our work ends. The white titanium case sides stay as Samsung made them, the band remains Samsung’s own, and the sensor back is not touched; nor are the display, processor, sensors or battery.
Keeping the back bare means Samsung’s wireless charger meets the watch exactly as designed and charges it normally. Health and activity tracking, workouts, the siren and each Wear OS update function as they would on an untouched Ultra2. Being a Samsung band, the Marine Band is adjusted at its buckle, so you can set the fit to your wrist in a moment.
Arctic by the Numbers: Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra2 Data
The watch inside Arctic is a standard Galaxy Watch Ultra2, so this table sets out Samsung Gulf’s own published figures for it as it leaves the factory. There is no weight entry, because the plated metal adds slightly to it. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra2 specification page lists everything else.
The white Marine Band is a Samsung design for water sports, and an unmodified Ultra2 is rated 10ATM and IP69K with EN13319 dive certification. After customisation none of that should be relied on. Arctic is a dry watch: take it off before swimming, diving or showering.

What does the plating cover on Arctic?
Five to seven microns of your chosen metal go onto the bezel and every button, the Quick Button among them, and onto the band’s buckle and loop. The white titanium case sides, the white band and the sensor back all stay Samsung’s.
Is the watch a real Galaxy Watch Ultra2?
Yes. Arctic begins as a factory-new Ultra2, and we customise its exterior by hand in Dubai. The internals and the Wear OS software are unchanged.
Can I use Samsung’s wireless charger?
You can. The sensor back carries no plating, so the charger supplied by Samsung docks onto Arctic and charges it just as before.
Is engraving possible?
Yes. Submit your wording through our engraving request page, and your GoldPrivé consultant confirms the text and position with you ahead of production.
What size is Arctic, and how do I choose Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum?

Can Arctic be worn in water, and what about the warranty?
It shouldn’t be. Although Samsung created the Marine Band for water sports, Arctic must be kept dry, because the factory 10ATM, IP69K and EN13319 ratings can’t be relied on after customisation; skip swimming, diving and showers. Samsung may consider the watch modified, which can affect the manufacturer warranty, and GoldPrivé Care looks after the customised parts.
How does Arctic compare with the rest of the range?
