Braid Gold Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Metal Worked Like Thread
The Braid Gold Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra borrows its logic from the loom rather than the jeweller’s bench. Every piece is raised on a new, unlocked Galaxy S26 Ultra bought at retail: the rear glass comes off in our Dubai atelier, a fresh panel takes its place, and panel and Armor Aluminum frame are plated together in Platinum, 24K Gold or Rose Gold to a depth of 5–7 microns. It sits with the Exotic Skin work in our gold Galaxy S26 Ultra collection.
Two thirds of the back is given to a raised basketweave, plated strips passing over and under one another with the camera lenses set into the pattern and ringed in the same metal. The last third is a tall column of black crocodile leather, and between weave and hide runs a slim, smooth divider. In the renders it reads “Name and Initials Here”, which is exactly what it is for. Each metal is priced identically.
A Woven Shell Over Standard Samsung Hardware
The weave, the hide and the plating are all exterior work. They live on the replacement panel, and the frame and camera lens rings are finished to agree with it. Samsung’s contribution is left sealed: the 6.9-inch display with its built-in S Pen, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, the 200MP camera system and the battery are never opened, so Galaxy AI, 5G, eSIM and Samsung’s own updates continue without interruption.
One question is settled in advance. Some configurations of this design take wireless charging and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay and others will not, so a GoldPrivé consultant checks your build and confirms before the commission goes ahead. Wired charging over USB‑C is available on all of them.
Samsung’s Own Numbers Under the Weave

What exactly does the atelier change?
The rear glass is exchanged for a new panel carrying a raised woven lattice, a smooth divider and a column of crocodile leather. Panel, Armor Aluminum frame and camera lens rings are plated 5 to 7 microns deep. The display and everything inside remain as Samsung built them.
Does it begin as an authentic Samsung?
Yes. Each commission starts from a new, unlocked Galaxy S26 Ultra and is reworked by hand in Dubai. The S Pen, the cameras, Galaxy AI and Samsung’s software updates behave normally throughout.
