Two Bars, Nothing Else

Genesis II Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra: A Measured Pair

A pair of polished bars, stacked with a clear gap between them, is the entire signature of the Genesis II Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. It is built on an unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in retail condition: the rear glass comes off in our Dubai workshop, a panel finely worked in interlocking hexagons goes on, and the chevrons receive a 5–7 micron layer of Rose Gold, Platinum or 24K Gold. Genesis II belongs to the Premium Anodised half of our gold Z Fold8 Ultra collection.

Placed directly beneath a lens surround finished in the same metal, the two bars sit close together, and beneath them the textured ground runs on uninterrupted as far as a small plated GoldPrivé nameplate. Noir is the panel shown in the renders, while Royale Blue, Rose Fuchsia, Crimson Red and Verdant cost exactly the same. As with every foldable from this atelier, the hinge and the frame keep Samsung’s finish untouched.

Two Accents Over Standard Samsung Hardware

Magnified, the chevrons reveal mirror-flat faces against a ground that stays deliberately quiet. That layering is the whole customisation. Samsung’s folding mechanism carries no plating, nor does the frame around it, so the phone shuts as designed; within, the cover screen and the main screen, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, the 200MP camera system and the battery remain untouched.

Everything you use daily survives the process: 5G, eSIM, Galaxy AI and Samsung’s continuing updates. What a plated rear cannot permit is a charging pad, or the NFC exchange Samsung Wallet needs to tap and pay. Power arrives instead through the USB‑C cable provided, and contactless payment moves to a card.

The Hardware Under the Chevrons

Genesis II is an unmodified Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra beneath its panel, so the table simply restates the manufacturer’s figures in the form Samsung Gulf issues them. Fuller detail sits on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra specifications.

Read the wireless row as cable-only here: no pad charging, no tap-to-pay. IP48 is what Samsung quotes for an unaltered foldable, so once a panel has been fitted, avoid water rather than trusting the rating. Everyday upkeep for plated surfaces is covered in our guide to caring for a gold finish.

Presentation & Engraving

The Genesis II Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Presented

Either bar will take an engraving, and lettering placed there stands clear of the texture without crowding the design. Bring the wording to our personalisation service and a consultant agrees the size with you before the panel goes into production. The technique behind the accents themselves is electroplating.

A GoldPrivé leather presentation box holds the phone, with a gift bag for the handover. Packed as well: Samsung’s original paperwork, a 20W adapter and its USB‑C cable, and a certificate of authenticity whose reference is confirmed on our verification page. Not sure which foldable suits you? Our Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra comparison lays them out.

Genesis II in Detail

Genesis II Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra: Your Questions

Which parts are new, and which are plated?

The rear panel is new, textured in hexagons and supplied in your chosen colour; its two chevrons and the nameplate take 5 to 7 microns of precious metal, and the lens surround matches them. Neither the hinge nor the frame carries plating, and both displays and all internals are as Samsung built them.

Is a real Samsung phone used?

Yes — an unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in retail condition, customised by hand in Dubai, with its cameras, Galaxy AI and update support untouched.

Can it charge on a pad or pay by tapping?

Neither, in fact. Metal on the rear blocks the charging field and the NFC link alike, so the Genesis II Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra charges over USB‑C and payments go through a card.

Can something be engraved?

Yes. Use our customisation page to send initials, a name or a logo, and a consultant approves the layout before anything is built.

What storage and RAM are offered?

256GB and 512GB come with 12GB of RAM; the 1TB version carries 16GB. All are available in every colour and metal.

How much is Genesis II?

It begins at $ 7,430 and reaches $ 7,860 at 1TB. Panel colour and precious metal leave the total untouched.

Is the manufacturer warranty affected?

It can be: Samsung may treat a customised phone as modified, and that can matter for the warranty it provides. Water should be avoided from then on, whatever the original rating said, while GoldPrivé Care covers our own components.

Where does Genesis II sit within the line?

Genesis II is the middle measure. Genesis adds side rails to a single broad chevron, Genesis III raises the count to four bars, and Ledger Link replaces them with a chain. Over polished metal rather than texture, Sovereign Link is the equivalent. Everything is listed in the Premium Anodised category.
