With the Legacy Gold Apple Watch Ultra 4, texture takes centre stage. A factory-new Apple Watch Ultra 4 comes into our Dubai atelier, where its Grade 5 titanium case is coated in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum at a thickness of 5–7 microns, then fitted to a bracelet of many small links in the same metal. Of all the designs in our gold Apple Watch Ultra 4 collection, Legacy is the most ornate.
The links are small rounded hexagons, laid in staggered rows so the bracelet reads like a honeycomb. Each facet meets the light at a slightly different angle, giving the band a glittering, scaled surface that shifts as the wrist turns. Against the clean planes of the Ultra case, that pattern adds a jeweller’s detail to an instrument watch.
Plated Where It Shows, Apple Where It Counts
We plate the parts you see and touch: the titanium case, the Digital Crown, the side button and the Action button, with every hexagonal link of the bracelet finished in the matching metal. Everything that makes the watch work is left alone. The flat sapphire crystal, display, S11 chip, sensors and battery are never opened, and the sensor back retains Apple’s dark finish.
That untouched back lets the magnetic fast charger connect as intended and keeps the heart, blood oxygen and temperature sensors reading as they should, with the compass, workouts and watchOS updates unaffected. Legacy closes with a fold-over clasp on the underside of the wrist. Before the watch leaves us, your GoldPrivé consultant has the bracelet shortened to your measurement.

Which parts of Legacy are plated?

Can I swim or dive in Legacy, and does it affect the warranty?
Please don’t. Customisation leaves the watch without water resistance, so keep Legacy away from pools, the sea and the shower. Apple may consider a customised watch modified, which can affect the manufacturer warranty; the customised parts are covered by GoldPrivé Care.
How is Legacy different from the other Ultra bracelets?
