The Metron Gold Tape Measure is a professional 10 metre tape whose entire outer housing our Dubai atelier plates in 24K Gold and polishes to a mirror. It is made for the people who build: a thank-you for an architect, a builder or a site engineer, a keepsake for a new home, or a desk piece for anyone who works with their hands. It belongs to our executive accessories.
It stays a real working tape. The blade, the lock and the end hook are left exactly as they were made, so it reads, locks and retracts the way a good tape should.
What Is Gold, and What Stays Original
The housing, the belt clip and the screws carry about 3 microns of 24K Gold over a nickel base, polished to a mirror. Three parts are deliberately left as they were made: the bright yellow lock button, the yellow blade with its black and red markings, and the steel end hook. The yellow keeps every number easy to read against the gold, and the hook keeps its true-zero grip.
The round front carries a fine tone-on-tone engraving of 24K GOLD and GOLDPRIVÉ as standard. Our images are renders of the finished design; each piece is plated and finished by hand, so small details can vary slightly.

The plating is decorative. With light use and normal care it keeps its shine for years; on a tape used every day on site, the most-handled edges can gradually show wear, so we recommend it as a keepsake or for occasional use.
