Luxury Gold Magic Keyboard with Touch ID — 24K Gold / Rose Gold / Platinum
$ 2,270$ 2,050
Apple’s compact Magic Keyboard with Touch ID (USB-C), its aluminium frame plated by GoldPrivé in Platinum, 24K Gold or Rose Gold. The white keys and the Touch ID key are left as Apple made them, and Touch ID works with Mac models with Apple silicon.
Luxury Gold Magic Keyboard with Touch ID: A Fine Line of Metal
Seen side-on, it is little more than a sliver of polished metal with white keys resting on it; from above, that metal becomes a fine outline traced between every row. The Luxury Gold Magic Keyboard with Touch ID brings the compact layout from our gold Mac accessories to any desk where space is precious, its frame finished in 24K Gold, Platinum or Rose Gold.
Underneath is Apple’s current compact Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, the USB-C model. Its Touch ID key reads your fingerprint whenever it is paired with a Mac built on Apple silicon. Pairing and charging happen through the USB-C port, the battery inside is rechargeable, and day to day it connects by Bluetooth.
The Frame Takes the Metal; Every Key Stays Apple’s
Our atelier plates the aluminium frame that holds the keys, 5–7 microns deep, and polishes it until it mirrors the room. The keys themselves, the Touch ID key included, remain exactly as Apple produced them, uncoated and unchanged to type on. You will see 24K Gold in our photographs; the Rose Gold and Platinum versions are identical in design.
Apple’s key mechanism, fingerprint sensor, battery and macOS support are all left alone. If you plan to type from across a room, tell your consultant, as a metal frame can reduce Bluetooth range slightly.
Magic Keyboard with Touch ID: Apple’s Details
Apple’s own listing for this compact USB-C keyboard; the full page is on apple.com.
Clean the frame with a dry, soft cloth that sheds no lint, keeping chemical sprays and wipes off the plating. The keyboard has no water rating, so a desk without drinks nearby is kindest to it. GoldPrivé Care can assist with more.
Personalise the Luxury Gold Magic Keyboard with Touch ID
Initials, a name, a brief message or a logo can be engraved on the frame. Space on a compact frame is limited, so your consultant confirms what will fit and how it will read, starting from the details you send through our personalisation page. Stone setting is not offered on keyboards.
Your keyboard is supplied with Apple’s USB-C cable and a GoldPrivé certificate of authenticity, verifiable on our certificate page. To begin, pay a 50% deposit or the complete price. Each piece is made to order, and your consultant settles metal and engraving, oversees production and books insured shipping. Commissions become final when production begins.

Luxury Gold Magic Keyboard with Touch ID: Your Questions
What does the plating cover?
Just the frame: the aluminium border holding the keys, 5–7 microns deep and polished to a mirror, in the metal you select.
Are the keys or the Touch ID key coated?
Neither. Every key, Touch ID included, keeps Apple’s own finish and the feel you already know.
Which keyboard is it, and are other versions available?
It is Apple’s current keyboard with Touch ID in its compact, white-keyed USB-C form. There is one model on this page; your choices are the metal and any engraving. A full-size sibling is described in the last answer below.
What can be engraved on the frame?
Initials, a name, a brief message or a logo, provided it suits the small surface. Send it through our customisation form; stones cannot be set.
Will Touch ID work with my Mac?
Yes, provided your Mac uses Apple silicon, which is Apple’s own requirement for Touch ID. Everything else behaves normally. A plated frame can trim Bluetooth range slightly, so mention it if that is critical.
What does the Luxury Gold Magic Keyboard with Touch ID cost?
$ 2,270; Platinum, Rose Gold and 24K Gold are priced the same.
How do I keep the frame bright?
A dry, soft, lint-free cloth, no chemical cleaners and no liquids nearby. GoldPrivé Care is available after delivery.
How does it compare with the full-size keyboard and the mouse?
This is the compact layout with white keys. The Luxury Gold Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad is the full-width layout, adding a number pad, document navigation keys and full-size arrows, with white or black keys to choose from, while the Luxury Gold Magic Mouse completes the desk with a plated base under a white Multi-Touch top. Browse them together in gold Mac accessories.
