Blue Apple AirPods Max 2 — 24K Gold / Rose Gold / Platinum
$ 2,250$ 1,590
Apple’s AirPods Max 2 in Blue, with the aluminium ear cups, stainless steel headband arms, Digital Crown and listening mode button plated by GoldPrivé in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. The pale blue canopy, mesh and cushions stay exactly as Apple coloured them, and the cups can be engraved.
Luxury Gold AirPods Max 2 Blue: A Shoreline Hue in Polished Gold
Picture the sea on a windless morning, pale and unhurried, then set it inside polished metal. The Luxury Gold AirPods Max 2 Blue keeps Apple’s soft blue on the canopy, the knitted mesh and both cushions, while our atelier finishes the cups and arms in Platinum, Rose Gold or 24K Gold. It sits with the other colourways on our gold AirPods Max 2 page as the restful one, a shade that settles the eye through long evenings of music.
Beneath the metal is Apple’s current AirPods Max 2, with a pair of H2 chips, noise cancellation up to 1.5 times stronger than the original model and lossless listening over USB-C. The commission leaves the sound untouched and changes only how the pair looks.
Plated Cups, Blue Fabric, Apple Sound
Four parts are plated: the aluminium housings of the cups, the steel arms that let the headband extend, the Digital Crown and the listening mode button. Each takes a layer 5–7 microns deep before being polished to a mirror, and one cup carries our emblem on its outside. To reach them, the atelier takes each pair apart, protects the drivers and mesh, then reassembles and tests it; chips, drivers and electronics are never modified. The canopy, its mesh and the cushions remain in Apple’s Blue. Our photographs are 24K Gold; Rose Gold and Platinum follow the identical design at the identical price.
Everything that makes sound or listens to the room is Apple’s own: chips, drivers, noise cancellation, Transparency, microphones, sensors and battery. The plated Crown and mode button work exactly as Apple made them, and updates arrive as before. Metal around the cups can shorten Bluetooth range slightly; if you wander far from your phone, tell your consultant.
Inside the Blue: Apple’s Own Figures
These are Apple’s numbers for an ordinary AirPods Max 2 in Blue; the complete list lives on apple.com. Plating the cups and arms alters none of them.
Wipe the plated cups with a dry, soft cloth that leaves no lint, and never reach for chemical cleaners. Let hand cream or perfume settle before you touch the metal, and rest the headphones in their Smart Case between sessions. Apple gives them no water rating; keep drinks and rain at a distance. GoldPrivé Care looks after anything further.
Make the Luxury Gold AirPods Max 2 Blue Your Own
The plated cups can be engraved with a monogram, a name, a few words or a company logo. Each idea is checked to confirm it is feasible, then settled with your consultant on our personalisation page before the atelier begins.
Your headphones arrive in a GoldPrivé presentation box with an authenticity certificate, which you can check on our verification page. The Smart Case Apple designed for them travels too, with its USB-C Charge Cable and the paperwork, and we add a USB-C power adapter rated at 20W as a complimentary extra. Reserve the commission with a deposit of 50%, or settle it in full. Every pair is made to order, and your consultant confirms colour, metal, engraving, production and insured delivery. The commission is final once production is under way.

Luxury Gold AirPods Max 2 Blue: Your Questions
Which parts of the headphones are plated?
The aluminium cup housings, the steel arms of the headband, the Digital Crown and the listening mode button, each to 5–7 microns and polished to a mirror. One cup carries our emblem on its outside.
Does the gold change the blue of the fabric?
No. Canopy, mesh and cushions stay in Apple’s Blue, a pale, sea-washed tone that the polished metal frames rather than covers.
What comes in the box?
The Smart Case, USB-C Charge Cable and printed material from Apple; a complimentary 20W adapter with a USB-C port, added by us; our presentation box; and an authenticity certificate.
Can I have them engraved?
Yes. A name, initials, a short phrase or a logo can go on the plated cups, provided the design is feasible. Share your idea through our personalisation form and your consultant will agree the details with you.
Do they still work like standard AirPods Max 2?
They do. Chips, drivers, noise control, Spatial Audio, microphones, sensors and battery are Apple’s, and they pair with any current iPhone, iPad or Mac, plus Apple TV, Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro. The metal cups may trim Bluetooth range a little; tell your consultant if range is important to you.
What is the price of the Luxury Gold AirPods Max 2 Blue?
$ 2,250, and that figure holds whichever metal you choose.
How should I look after the plated cups?
A dry cloth, soft and lint-free, is all they need. Avoid chemical cleaners, keep hand cream and perfume off the metal, and store the pair in its Smart Case. For polishing or repairs, turn to GoldPrivé Care.
How does Blue compare with the other colours?
Blue is the cool, coastal choice. Midnight is darker and more reserved, while Orange brings warmth and brightness. All five share the same plating and price; see them side by side in our gold headphones collection.
