Atelier Gold iPhone 18 Pro Max: Sculpted in Facets
The Atelier Gold iPhone 18 Pro Max is modelled rather than engraved. Row upon row of angled facets rise from the plated back panel, each one turning light a slightly different way, so the surface glitters like cut metal as you move it.

A Tactile Panel on Standard Apple Hardware
The lattice is formed in the new back panel, while the plated frame stays smooth to set it off. Nothing inside the handset is disturbed: the cameras, the battery and the A20 Pro chip are exactly as Apple built them.
Because that panel is plated metal throughout, MagSafe and Qi2 chargers will not work with it. Plug in over USB‑C instead, at full speed.

Quilted and secure. The facets have softened edges, so the texture improves grip without feeling sharp.
Is the pattern cut or raised?
Raised. The lattice stands up from the back panel rather than being engraved into it.
Does the frame carry the lattice?
No. The frame is plated and polished smooth to contrast with the faceted back.
Which edition is closest in spirit?

Will a MagSafe charger work?
