Not every amulet needs stones. The Meandros Blessing Eye Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 relies on line instead: a round medallion edged with the meander, the endlessly turning key pattern of ancient Greek architecture, wrapped around a single blue eye. It sits centred on the panel, a short distance below the camera island, where the wider proportions of this foldable give it a generous margin. The base is a sealed, unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8; our Dubai craftsmen fit it with a new back plated 5–7 microns deep in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum and plate the pill-shaped camera island to match.

Struck in 18K solid gold, the medallion is read in layers from the rim. Outermost, black key segments turn one into the next; within them runs a band of finely textured, dotted gold; and at the centre a blue eye with an enamel-like gloss and a dark pupil looks straight back. The panel itself stays mirror-smooth, marked only by a small engraving of the metal and the GoldPrivé name towards the base. It is the one design of the Evil Eye collection with no stones at all.

The solid metal rear brings one limitation that is worth knowing in advance.
