What 5 to 7 Microns Buys

Plating is quoted in microns because thickness is the whole argument. At 5 to 7 microns the layer has enough depth to take daily handling without thinning at the corners, which is where a flash-plated case fails first. The material underneath it is chosen on the same principle.

Pick 24K gold, rose gold or platinum above. Frame and plate are finished in one pass, so there is no seam in tone where they meet.
