Which surfaces of Meridian are plated?
Case, Digital Crown and side button take 5–7 microns of 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, and the woven mesh is finished to match. The screen and the sensor back stay unplated, just as Apple produced them.
Is there a genuine Apple Watch under the mesh?
Yes: a factory-new aluminium Series 12, customised only on the outside. Its S11 chip, Always-On Retina display of up to 2000 nits and Ceramic Shield 2 front are exactly Apple’s, and it works with iPhone 11 or later on iOS 27.
Does the watch charge the usual way?
Yes. The sensor back is never plated, so Apple’s magnetic fast-charging cable clicks on as normal and, by Apple’s figures, reaches 80% in around 30 minutes. Expect up to 24 hours between charges, or 38 in Low Power Mode.
