Two fields of finely pyramided metal, and between them a seam of shell: the Regal Victory Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra makes its case with light alone. Each one is built on a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, its rear glass exchanged in Dubai for a panel plated 5–7 microns deep in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, camera surround included. The frame and hinge are never plated. It sits with the Pearl Edition pieces in our Z Fold8 Ultra collection.
The upper field catches the light around the lenses; the lower one holds a plated GoldPrivé plaque. Each reaches into the centre in a V, so the band of genuine mother of pearl is pinched at the waist. Because mother of pearl is grown rather than made, the drift of colour across your band will belong to your phone alone. Price does not follow the metal.
A Rebuilt Back, an Unchanged Foldable
The pearl band and the textured fields are features of the replacement panel, and the camera surround is the only other part to receive metal. Samsung’s frame and hinge are never plated: they hold the tolerances that let an 8.0-inch screen fold in half. Inside, nothing moves — both displays, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, the 200MP camera system and the battery stay as they were made.
That leaves the software and radios exactly as Samsung intends, Galaxy AI, 5G and eSIM among them. The wireless pair is the one open question. Charging on a pad and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay are present on some configurations of this design and absent on others, so a consultant confirms yours before the commission goes ahead.
