Exotic Royal Gold iPhone Air: Scrollwork Over Leather

Ornament leads on the Exotic Royal Gold iPhone Air, which borrows the flowing flourishes of Baroque decoration. We start with a brand-new Apple iPhone Air, unlocked, and in Dubai replace its rear panel by hand with engraved plated metal and crocodile leather, producing the most decorated member of our Exotic Skin collection.

Scrollwork is engraved into the top section around the camera. Below it runs a polished chevron band punctuated by small screw fixings. Down each edge, a polished side rail with fine line detail and further fixings borders the leather panel that occupies the rest of the back. Metal parts and titanium frame are plated at 5–7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, the price identical for each. Leather is offered in green, blue, black, brown or red with no difference in cost; the renders show black.

Ornament, Not Surgery

Decoration Outside, Engineering Left Alone

All of the ornament lives on the outside. A new back panel, holding the leather with every metal element plated, replaces the one Apple fitted, and the titanium frame is plated to match. Beneath it, the display, A19 Pro chip, cameras, battery and internals are never opened or modified, so 5G, Apple Pay, the 48MP Fusion camera, eSIM and Face ID behave as before, and iOS updates install normally.

Settle one practical point in advance: wireless charging is available on some configurations, so the GoldPrivé sales team must confirm yours before ordering. Charging over USB‑C always works.

Beneath the Engraving, Apple’s Specification

For this design the wireless row carries a caveat: charging without a cable is available on some configurations, so confirm yours with the GoldPrivé sales team before ordering, knowing USB‑C always works. Customisation leaves the phone without water resistance, so keep it dry. Keep perfume, solvents and water off the leather and clean it with a soft cloth used dry; our gold iPhone care guide explains how to look after the engraved metal.

Common Questions

Common Questions on the Exotic Royal Gold iPhone Air

What does the Maison customise here?

Only the exterior. We fit a new back panel combining crocodile leather with engraved and polished plated metal, then plate the titanium frame in the same finish. The display, cameras and everything inside stay as Apple made them.

Is the phone a real Apple iPhone Air?

It is. Apple built the phone, new and unlocked, and our Dubai atelier decorates only its exterior, so you keep Face ID, Apple Pay, eSIM, 5G and every iOS update.

Will Exotic Royal charge wirelessly?

Wireless charging is available on some configurations, so the GoldPrivé sales team should confirm yours before ordering. USB‑C always works; for background, read whether a gold iPhone can support MagSafe.

Can you add my initials or a date?

Our customisation service handles such requests, and a GoldPrivé consultant will confirm where they can be placed without crowding the Baroque detail before production.

What storage and display size are available?

Exotic Royal is built on the 6.5-inch iPhone Air, the only size Apple makes for this model, with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB.

What is the Exotic Royal Gold iPhone Air priced at?

Prices run from $ 4,190 at 256GB to $ 4,790 at 1TB; metal and leather colour make no difference.

What should I know about warranty and water?

Apple may consider the iPhone modified, which can affect its warranty, and it is not water resistant, so keep it dry. Everything we customise is covered by GoldPrivé Care.

How does Exotic Royal compare with the other designs?

It is the most ornate of the four leather pieces. Wild Elegance lets leather dominate, Exotic Grandeur relies on ribbed rails and a clean chevron, and Wild Elegance Victory uses hobnail texture. Royal, from the Pearl Edition, keeps this engraved layout but swaps the leather for mother of pearl. Browse them together in the Exotic Skin category.
