Soft Shell, Strong Links

Regal Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8: Pearl Crossed by Chain

Pale, shifting shell and a line of heavy links make an unlikely pair, which is exactly why the Regal Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 works. It is built on a factory-new, unlocked Galaxy Z Fold8, the wider new book-format foldable from Samsung. In our Dubai atelier the rear glass gives way to a panel faced almost entirely in genuine mother of pearl; its slim rim, fittings and the camera surround are plated 5–7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. The frame and hinge are never plated.

A curb chain runs most of the height of the right-hand side, its ends secured by shield-shaped mounts. On the opposite edge, low down, a slim plated strip carries the GoldPrivé name, and up top the pill-shaped surround frames both lenses. Each pearl sheet is cut from natural shell, so the rose and green flashes across your Regal will not appear on any other. Price does not change with the metal. Regal leads the Pearl Edition for Z Fold8.

Our Work, Their Phone

Only the Back Is Ours

Shell, chain, mounts and nameplate are all part of the replacement back; the camera surround is the one other plated component. The 7.6-inch QXGA+ inner screen and the 5.5-inch WUXGA+ cover screen, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, the wide and ultra wide 50MP cameras and the 4,800mAh battery are never removed, and the bare frame and hinge preserve Samsung’s folding action.

Regal therefore runs Galaxy AI, 5G and eSIM as normal and receives Samsung security updates through 31 July 2033. Wireless is the point to confirm. Charging on a pad and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay survive on some configurations of this design and not on others, so your consultant checks before you order; a USB‑C cable always charges it.

Regal’s Samsung Foundations

The hardware is Samsung’s alone, so the table quotes Samsung Gulf’s figures for the stock Galaxy Z Fold8 and nothing of ours. Further detail sits on Samsung’s official Z Fold8 specifications.

On Regal the wireless entry varies by configuration and is confirmed before the order, while USB‑C cable charging is guaranteed. IP48 is Samsung’s rating for a phone in factory condition; a pearl-backed customisation should be kept dry. Our care guide for gold finishes explains how to keep the plated metal bright.

Monogram & Box

Monogramming the Regal Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8

The shell is left pure, so a monogram or date goes on the plated strip at the lower edge. Suggest it via our personalisation service; a consultant confirms the wording and how much the strip will take before production is booked.

Regal comes in a GoldPrivé leather presentation box with a gift bag, plus Samsung’s original documentation, a USB‑C cable, a 20W power adapter and an authenticity certificate to verify on our verification page. If you want the larger screen, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra edition is available too. The adapter comes with every phone we supply; a phone you send us for customisation is returned without one.

Regal FAQ

Regal Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8: Your Questions

What changes on the phone?

The glass back is swapped for a pearl-faced panel carrying the chain, its mounts and the GoldPrivé strip, all plated 5 to 7 microns, and the camera surround is plated to match. Frame, hinge, screens and internals remain Samsung’s.

Is Regal a real Galaxy Z Fold8?

Yes, factory-new and unlocked, customised by hand in Dubai. Already own a Z Fold8? Send it to us and pay for the customisation only; you cover shipping and customs both ways.

Will wireless charging and Samsung Wallet work?

That varies by configuration. A consultant confirms wireless charging and tap-to-pay for your Regal Gold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 before ordering, and USB‑C cable charging works on every build.

Will my pearl look like the photos?

In character, yes; in detail, no. Natural shell varies, so the swirl and colour of your back are unique to it.

Which storage can I choose?

256GB or 512GB, each with 12GB of RAM, or 1TB with 16GB.

How much does Regal cost?

$ 4,690 for 256GB through to $ 5,290 for 1TB. All three metals are priced the same.

What about warranty and water?

Bought from GoldPrivé, Regal comes with one year of device warranty and two years on the customisation via GoldPrivé Care. Keep it away from water; IP48 refers only to Samsung’s unmodified phone.

How does Regal differ from the other pearl designs?

Regal shows the most shell and is the only pearl piece with a chain. Regal Victory narrows the pearl between textured chevrons, Royal crowns it with floral engraving and Pearl Knot pairs it with a weave. The chain on crocodile leather is Wild Elegance Link.
