For those who like their gold with a measure of restraint, the Sovereign Link Gold Apple Watch Series 12 sets precious metal against black. We start from a factory-new aluminium Apple Watch Series 12, and in our Dubai atelier its case is plated 5–7 microns deep in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. It is the two-tone bracelet of our gold Apple Watch Series 12 collection, and the one most at home with a dark suit.
Black outer links frame slim centre links plated in the case metal, so fine lines of gold, rose gold or platinum run from lug to clasp. The contrast keeps the look sharp and a shade quieter than an all-metal bracelet, while tying the plated case and Digital Crown to the band. It suits a client who wears black often and wants the precious metal to read as an accent rather than the whole story.
What Is Plated, What Stays Black
Our plating covers the aluminium case, the Digital Crown and the side button, plus every centre link of the bracelet, all in the metal you select. The outer links and the clasp keep their black finish, which is what gives Sovereign Link its contrast. Inside, Apple’s display, S11 chip, sensors and battery remain sealed as Apple built them, and the sensor back is left in its original finish.
Since that back is unchanged, Apple’s magnetic fast charger fits against it just as it should, and blood oxygen, temperature readings, sleep score and software updates work as on any Series 12. A black fold-over clasp closes the bracelet under the wrist, and your GoldPrivé consultant can have links taken out so it sits correctly before the watch leaves us.

Which parts are plated, and which stay black?
The case, Digital Crown and side button are plated with 5 to 7 microns of 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, as are the bracelet’s centre links. The outer links and the fold-over clasp stay black, and the display and sensor back remain as Apple made them.
Is it a genuine Apple Watch Series 12?
Yes. It is a factory-new aluminium Series 12, customised by hand at our Dubai atelier, with Apple’s S11 chip, electrical and optical heart sensors, blood oxygen and temperature sensing all intact. It works with iPhone 11 or later on iOS 27.
Can I use Apple’s charger?
You can. The sensor back is never plated, so Apple’s magnetic fast-charging cable, supplied in the box, attaches and charges exactly as it would on an unaltered watch.
Is engraving available on Sovereign Link?
Yes. Send us your words via our engraving page, and your GoldPrivé consultant will settle the wording and its position with you before production.
Which case sizes can I order?
Sovereign Link is built on the 42mm or 46mm Series 12 case, in each of the three metals, and the bracelet is sized to your wrist before delivery.

Does customising affect the warranty or water resistance?
