Nuit Royale Gold Apple Watch Series 12: A Knit the Colour of Night
Deep blue, textured and quietly nautical, the Nuit Royale Gold Apple Watch Series 12 is our evening watch for clients drawn to the sea. It starts as a factory-new aluminium Apple Watch Series 12 in the 46mm case, which our Dubai atelier plates in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum at 5–7 microns before fitting a Hermès En Mer band in Bleu Nuit. It sits at the top of our gold Apple Watch Series 12 collection.
The band is a textured knit in Bleu Nuit, raised into diagonal ridges that ripple along its length like a swell on open water, true to the En Mer name. Its buckle is engraved HERMÈS and plated in the same metal as the case, so the two bright points on the wrist agree. Nuit Royale suits someone who spends weekends at the marina, or who simply prefers blue to black after dark. The En Mer band is a Hermès design; GoldPrivé works independently of Hermès and Apple.
Plated Case, Hermès Knit, Apple Inside
Our work covers the metal you can see. The aluminium case, the Digital Crown and the side button are plated in the finish you select, and the buckle engraved HERMÈS is plated to match. The knit is not plated. Beneath the case, Apple’s display, S11 chip, sensors and battery are left alone, and the sensor back keeps its Apple finish, so the magnetic fast charger attaches and charges normally; heart and blood oxygen readings, sleep score, workouts and watchOS updates all carry on as on any Series 12.
Fastening is the traditional kind. The buckle’s tongue passes through a row of holes in the knit, and a keeper loop in the same Bleu Nuit fabric holds the free end flat. You set the length on your wrist, one hole at a time. Nuit Royale is made with the 46mm case only.

Nuit Royale is built on a genuine Apple Watch Series 12, so the table uses Apple’s published data for the aluminium model. Weight is omitted, since the plating adds a slight amount. Apple lists the remaining details on its Series 12 specifications page.

Presenting the Nuit Royale Gold Apple Watch Series 12

What is plated on Nuit Royale?
The case, Digital Crown and side button carry 5 to 7 microns of 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, and the buckle engraved HERMÈS is plated in that same metal. The Bleu Nuit knit, the display and the sensor back are not plated.
Is the watch itself a genuine Apple Watch Series 12?
Yes. It is a factory-new aluminium Series 12, customised by hand in our Dubai atelier, with Apple’s S11 chip, sensors and watchOS working as designed. GoldPrivé works independently of Hermès and Apple, so Nuit Royale is our own customisation rather than an edition from either house.
Can I use Apple’s charger as normal?
Yes. We leave the sensor back in Apple’s finish, so the magnetic fast-charging cable in the box connects as usual and, according to Apple, reaches 80% in around 30 minutes.
Can you engrave Nuit Royale?
