For all its presence, the jaguar is mounted on the replacement back panel alone, and the frame is plated to match. The phone’s cameras, displays and internals are never opened.

Face ID, Apple Pay and every iOS feature work as standard. MagSafe and Qi2 do not, because the panel is metal; charging runs through USB‑C.
